Prince!?... really!?

I know it's been a few months since this latest

, better known as Prince's demise, was reported. I've been reeling.

So, let's tally them up. Michael Jackson. David Bowie. ..... Prince!? I mean... who's left!?

I was fortunate enough to get to see Michael Jackson in concert. He was.. well.. I don't wanna diminish him with words. You just can't describe an entity like that.

You know my feelings on Bowie. I still sob when I hear him.

But Prince. Healthy, eternally youthful, a fireball on stage. We lost one of the absolute best singer/songwriter/performers ever born. From what I understand, he'll still be putting out new tracks for decades to come - so much was written and recorded.

If you're anything like me, you've started realizing that this reality, this life you've been living, day by day, actually DOES come to an end! And I've never felt so palpably close to mine. Life really is but the blink of an eye.
